    I agree that parking far from the door is a great idea! I'll do that whenever I don't have the kids with me. I also used to cut up fresh fruit and veggies in the morning and take them to the office to snack on. I need to get back into doing that.

    Taking the stairs instead of using the elevator everyday is a good form of staying in shape as well.

    I agree, the best way to start out losing weight or getting fitter or whatever is to start out doing anything you can to become more active. Simple things like taking the stairs or parking the car a little further away from the store.

    Although quite some time but the mere fact that we are talking about getting fit and staying healthy, exercising is yes, the best way to do aside from eating fresh and toxic-free food. I do walking as an exercise, enjoyable and relaxing.

    Thanks for the comment. Cutting up fresh fruit and veggies is absolutely a great idea. I just bought some of those baby carrots and I buy the fruit cut up from whole foods. I am going to blog about what we talked about a dinner, when Karen mentioned what they do to keep food fresh when traveling long distanced. I have done some research and now realize that buying locally is a big deal both health wise as well as environmentally.

    One thing is certain: we don't lack internet suggestions for loosing weight, the real trouble is which suggestions are good and which ones are less helping. I do know that exercise is good for health and for weight but I think I need more help on the nutritional part.

    Awesome tips! Leaving the car at home during some workdays and commuting is a good way to save gas and to exercise as well. Taking the stairs instead of using the elevator everyday is a good form of staying in shape as well.

    When you go to a store or restaurant. Don’t circle the front of the establishment waiting for a spot. Park far away and walk up. This has two benefits. First, you will burn some calories. Second, you are guaranteed a parking space. :-)
